How much more can I talk about myself?

I have been tagged by Tara at If Mom Says OK to do this little survey for you. I know I have done this one before and I have 100 things about me posts so I doubt I will be able to come up with anything original but I will try.

Here are the rules
1) Link to your tagger and post these rules on your blog
2) Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3) Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4) Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

Here it goes:

1) I have a scar on my right pinky from the only “fight” I ever got in. This girl my mom used to babysit scratched me with her fingernails so I punched her in the face, I was like 10. My mom tried to punish me but she didn’t really think I did anything wrong since I was defending myself and she started it, she did tell me that it was trashy to fight (physically) with people and I never did it again, I will tell my kids the same thing because she was right.

2) I’ve made up my mind and I am going to get that tattoo as a gift to myself for my birthday.

3) I like jumping on the trampoline when the kids aren’t around. When they’re around they always want me to hold them or do flips.

4) I would love to take a photography class, I have a kick ass 35mm camera and I never use it anymore.

5) I played Uno when I was in labor with both of my children, I also played Uno before Luis went in for surgery to have his lymphnodes removed. When my mom is in the hospital (she often is) I always try to remember Uno, I’m not really sure how this began but now its like a tradition.

6) I hate funerals, you have to mean a whole lot to me for me to go to your funeral. I don’t want a funeral when I die.

7) I’m really not looking forward to turning 26 next month, I hate aging.

Okay, I think those were different but I’m not going to check and make sure.

So here is who I tag (if you don’t want to do it, don’t worry, I won’t be offended):

1) Stephanie at The Poor Broad w/ Four Daughters

2) Susan at House of Hooes

3) Gin at Gin is Juiced

4) GirlyMom4 (how do I not know your name?)at What’s with all the Pink?

5) Lou at Clever Title Not Available

6) Trish at I Am Trish Marie

7) Jennifer at Crazy, Magic, Sometimes Hectic , Beautiful Life

Let’s play a little game

FYI: I have been posting the night before but dating it for the next morning just in case I don’t have time the next day to post, is this cheating?

Moving right along…

I made this up, its not terribly original but it was something different to do on here.
First, choose your favorite picture of yourself, it can be from anything but be sure to choose a special one, with meaning.

Second, answer these questions about that photo, be as honest as you can.

1) Why is this your favorite picture of yourself?

2) Where were you in the picture and what were you doing?

3) Is anyone else in the picture with you, if so, who are they?

4) When was the picture taken? How old were you?

5) When you look at the picture how does it make you feel?

Last, encourage your friends that blog to do the same. You don’t have to tag anyone but if you see this and you want to do it, then do it.

1) This is my favorite picture of me because it reminds me of my senior year, I had a lot of fun that year, it was the first year that I felt like I belonged somewhere. It was also before the prom, if the picture had been taken after I would not have looked so happy.

2) I was in front of my parents’ house in the picture and it was right before we went to prom, I hated my dress but now that I look back it wasn’t that bad.

3) That was my best friend, Hillary. She was 6 feet tall and a size 2 and yet she was the first person that made me feel pretty. Before I met her I thought very little of myself, she told me everyday for a year how gorgeous I was and somewhere along the way I started to believe her, when this picture was taken, though I still didn’t believe her. I haven’t talked to her in 2 years, she had some very troubling issues and I never knew what to say to her, I think she understood.

4) The picture was taken in April of 2000, I was about to turn 18.

5) When I look at this picture I think I looked very pretty but it makes me sad because I had no idea. It also reminds me of what a horrible night that was. Hillary took her long time boyfriend to the prom (I went with a good friend) and it all came out that she had been cheating on him (I did not condone this) with this guy that she ended up dancing almost all night with. When we went back to our hotel room she got so drunk that I ended up helping her out of her dress before she puked on it. Now, mostly what I remember from that night was her laying naked on the bathroom floor next to the toilet. Not a good prom but, I had it made up to me, the next year another friend of mine ended up single the weekend before prom so she took me instead, we had a blast, I can’t find the picture from it though.

Tag, I’m it!

I’ve been randomly tagged by Queen Mommy so here it goes…

Here are the rules:

-Link to the person who tagged you.

-Leave a comment on their blog so that their readers can visit yours.

-Post the rules on your blog.

-Share the seven (7) most famous or infamous people you have met. Or go with the original 7 weird things about yourself.

-Tag 7 random people at the end of your post.

-Include links to their blogs.

-Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

7 weird things about me, because I have never met 7 famous or infamous people, I’ve only met one (Donald Sutherland, it was random, he was at an art museum when I was).

1. I do an excellent turkey gobble sound, in fact once when I went camping with my family my sister-in-law yelled at me to shut up and it was an actual turkey gobbling, that’s how good I am.

2. I talk a lot, I always have. I thought it was normal for a long time but usually when I meet people they tell me, “Wow, you talk a lot.”

3. Sometimes I annoy myself, actually I do it a lot. I really wish I would just shut up sometimes, i can be a real ass.

4. I think I am way more mature than I actually am. I have always been like this, when I was 10 I told my mom that I was too old to be playing with dolls.

5. I drove to Nebraska to pick up a dog. I don’t think that this is all that weird but people tell me all the time that it is so I will include it since I can’t think of anything else.

6. I get really offended if people don’t like my brownies. I make them from scratch and I think they are delicious. When I was dating my husband he told me this other wife made really good brownies and they were better than mine, so when I met her I asked her for her recipe and she said they were from a box, this really pissed me off. My huband later changed his story to say hers were good but not as good as mine and now he refuses to eat brownies from a box. I turned him into a brownies snob. (I’ll post my recipe sometime)

7. I say “ridiculous” way more than the normal person. For some reason that is my word, I wasn’t even aware of it till one day my husband told me he knew when I thought something was stupid because I would say, “That’s ridiculous!” Then Harry Potter came out and its one of the spells in there so now I say it even if I don’t think something is stupid, I say it as though I were casting a spell, I know this is weird but this is supposed to be 7 weird things about me.

Here are the people I tagged:

J she is not random but I have to tag my girl.
Mrs. Mogul

Finally, I’m done!
